Since I was a child I’ve always loved and honored animals; dogs seem wonderful for me and if I could, I would have thousands of animals at home; the reason I like them so much, it’s because I believe animals remind us the freedom we have lost and reconnect us with the love that already is and not the one that’s conditioned through an exchange

I imagine that you’re aware of the current news and you already know about the forest fires in Australia; this country has 4 meteorological seasons during the year, they live summer when we are going through winter and in the hot season; they can reach up the 29º degrees celsius; nonetheless, currently they have reached up the 41º degrees, which means that it has been one of the hottest summers and this has prevented the fires from ceasing, this of course is causing the death of millions of animals.

Are these tempertures due to the climate change? There’s something called “greenhouse effect” which is a phenomenon that helps the earth mantain a normal temperature so we can be able to exist; nevertheless, the unfair deforestation in order to put buildings to turn them into apartments or houses so we can buy them and be indebted the rest of our lives; the waste of water to celebrate some event such as the Holy Saturday; the exploitation of the land to build factories that create the products we are dependent of; the use of fuels like the gas your car needs ‘cause you don’t want to get rid of it; plastics and the excess of garbage we generate per person every day; and of course, the lack of consciousness that make us stay in an oppressive thought such as: “’I’m not affected by it, it’s not my country”; all those factors are preventing that the heat caused by the human being can leave the planet and this originates an overheating by the excess of pollution that doesn’t allow the air to circulate.

“The world has enough for everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed.”

Mahatma Gandhi.

Like you know my home town is Mexico City, we’re millions of inhabitants so you’ll understand that’s a very chaotic place; last week I was walking in one of the most popular places in the city that’s the downtown, due to the Christmas holiday it was very crowded and in the distance I saw a little boy eating chips, when he finished eating them he threw the product bag on the floor and continued  his way; my concern wasn’t the boy, nor the parents that’s very clear they’re still away from the united consciousness and are educating his child to face life through lacking and separation; my real concern, was the surrounding environment next to him that didn’t do something about it; so this means that we’re used to live inside of a garbage conteiner called planet.

Possibly along your life, you’ve been in relationships that have hurt you or in situations that have challenged you in such a way that after you’ve rosen above them on thousand occasions, you’ve realized that you’re not the same person; this happens with the earth ‘cause it’s a living being which also breaths and feels; therefore, everytime we cut a tree from it, with the excuse that it’s “hindering us”, nature’s hurt; everytime we throw our garbage or spit on it, nature feels it; everytime we remove a flower, we’re interrupting its natural process; for me nature is one of the biggest teachers we have, ‘cause every season teach us the original process in life; spring teach us to blossom, to change, to transform; summer helps us to reconcile with the emotions of anger, rage, resentment; autumn reminds us how lovely could be the process of letting go what’s not worthy in our lives anymore; winter allows us to reconnect with others form warmth; in general, I believe the mother earth is the teacher that just a few people want to understand and accept as part of themselves.

I’ve listened that the biggest cause of the climate change is the human being; there’s no doubt, we’ve been and we are the cause of massive destruction; but also, we’re capable to act in order to protect and be better; therefore, you’re capable of helping other beings who don’t talk the same language but do feel the same as you; so please; not only pray for the situation in Australia, pray for the awakening, pray for the world, pray for the earth, and bring to your mind a healing intention; if you don’t want or can’t donate any money it’s okey, unfortunately we’re in a world that wants to fix everything with money and this situation, goes beyond a monetary injection; with the simple fact you daily feed yourself with positive thoughts and affirm the healing of the world, believe me it’s more than enough, ‘cause you’ll realize the power you have to make changes just by thinking on them; because it’s not a nation or a country that suffers, it’s all of us in the same space-time.

If you really want to have a better relationship with the natural world; make yourself the purpose to connect with nature more often, once and a while walk barefoot in the grass and be part of its energy and observe how it feels; you can lead a group with your neighbors, friends, work colleagues and one day of the week all of you can recollect garbage from the street; become aware of your thoughts because those are a very powerful weapon of pollution; if you don’t see any trash can near you, always carry a bag with you where you can put it in while you find an adequate place to throw it away; remember that the planet always gives us oxygen so we can live and exist, so I believe that this is right time to give it back the service it daily offers us.

Let’s stop turning away believing that nothing happens, when in reality it’s happening; make eventual changes that involve the respect to others and with that I mean the earth and its attributes; make consciousness of what you observe in the outside world and ask yourself: why am I experiencing this? Create new healthy habits that don’t involve a massive nor unnecessary consume; please commit with yourself, with your beloved ones, with the strangers and with the planet that’s your home; you don’t need to demonstrate what a good person you are, because being a good person is a human obligation and not a momentary election so we can be recognized by the outside; remember that earth doesn’t distinguish nationalities, states nor geographical boundaries because if something the mother earth knows is that we are one with her and her function relies on serving us all equally; therefore, think in the future you’re denying to yourself and the others; because if someone trusts in us to make changes is the Universe, God or energy; but before this happens we have to detach from that collective and destructive hypnosis in which we are still creating the situations in our life.
