One of my daily and practically mandatory routines is going to the gym, I believe this habit was inculcated by my parents, ‘cause both of them used to work out since they were young; my routines are based on training the bottom part of my body 3 times a week, 2 days the top of it and I use the weekends to practice box; for me, going to the gym is very important ‘cause I believe our body is an essential tool we use to move in life and of course, it’s the room in which our soul will always live.

Last week I talked you about the coronavirus, I told you that’s an illness that causes respiratory conflicts; this virus has grown in such a way that many of the countries in the world have declared themselves in the red zone, this situation has reached the point of forcing their citizens to be in quarantined; this means that nobody can leave their home, socialize nor visit public areas; honestly when I first heard the news about the virus, I thought it was almost impossible that it could get to Mexico but when this happened, I supposed it was going to be even more difficult that we reach a state of alert like the other nations.

For my surprise, the begining of the quarantined has arrived to Mexico, my confrontation with this situation is not being “excluded from the outside” ‘cause I define myself as a very reserved person, I do home office and I’m not used to going out that much, just to accomplish my job’s needs and of course, my physical activity. What challenges me the most about this situation is that something I can’t control nor explain gets me out of my confort zone; have in mind that when things aren’t happening accordingly to the story we tell ourselves everyday, for us this means that we have to face the unknown and the most fearful place for us, which is the terrible idea of uncertainty.

Remember that in the system we are part of, living in guilt, suffering, crisis, stress, wars, racisism and diferentation is something natural ‘cause the human life was constituted from survival, but when survival seems affected, the biological mind creates barriers to protect itself through crisis and makes us act through the impulse without being aware of the action, this is because any situation outside the plan that the mind has created, reminds it how fragile it is before something that goes past beyond it.

“You can’t go back and change the begining, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

Clive S. Lewis.

Have in mind that we live in a world where noise is constant, the first sound you listen comes from the alarm that reminds you that you’re late if you ignore its noise; then comes the sound of your thoughts that prepare you for the amount of work you have ahead of you; in addition you pour in them your anxiety and worry. When you get out of home you enter to the echo of the usual traffic and in most of the cases, you react more than you get calm ‘cause for the rush you have to get to work, you attract the most reckless people on your way there, and when you do arrive to work, maybe you dedicate your time to check the gossips about the people of your office before you start doing your work; in that way, your days pass by, among the things you have to do and the little time you dispose to do them; until the end of the day arrives so you can go back to bed and wait for the next day to experience more of the same.

When we feel our structure of life is being conditioned,  panic takes over the mind and the only thing we can perceive is the chaos around us, so from there, we think; therefore, we act; but if we see the situation with humility, this experience is a demostration of the deep abandonment we have with ourselves ‘cause this solitude environment challenges us because it’s teaching us the fear we have to the unknown, ‘cause only in the uncertainty of the chaos you’ll find a version of yourself that you haven’t met yet; this forces you to share time with a different version of yourself, who teaches you how much you have changed and the person you have become.

Remember that knowing oneself won’t always be nice ‘cause when we allow ourselves to do it, we meet versions of us that we don’t like and we feel forced to release those beliefs and labels that make us think we are the person in whom we have sheltered ourselves for many years; this situation of isolation teaches us that everything we thought we were for our need to belong, it’s just an illusion that when we least expected it, was broken, therefore, the advantage of this “confinenmet” is that it will help us to find all the answers we were looking for; the ones, that aren’t found in any comfort zone nor in the arrogance that safety gives us.

I undestand this situation is getting out of our hands but beyond worrying, overwhelming and keep attracting lack instead of abundance, what we need is to see the opportunity this situation is offering us; if someone would have told you to not go out for forty days because your absence would contribute to the cleansing of the planet in many ways, would you have done it? If someone would have told you that if you stayed home you would reflect about the places you’re not loving anymore, would you have stayed home? If someone would have told you that you needed to stay home to fix your life begining from your interior so you can reflect it on the outside, would you have done it? I can assure you that your answers would be no, but today life has forced us to reconcile and appreciate everything we took for granted; but most of all, it’s inviting us to embrace the inevitable changes the human experience brings; therefore, if tragedy has to be the master so that we can become empathic with others, connect from love and finally see each other as equals, then so be it

If you’re going to be forty days at home, be prepared to reconnect with yourself, to meditate, to make different arrangements at home, watch documentaries that can contribute you and make you reflect; take responsability for your actions and make consciousness of how much your thoughts, vibrations and attitudes have impacted your world and by consequence, the world that holds you ‘cause if there’s something we will learn from this process is that for big changes to happen we need to reconnect with silence and peace and both attributes can only be felt when you make peace with yourself and reconcile with everything you’re living; so in that way, you’ll be able to accept and love the messages the universe has to show you and in that way, you’ll manage to move from the places where you felt comfortable and untouchable.
