How many faces we show to others, don’t you think? We go through life walking in disguises that fit us big and others really small, because showing ourselves to others as we really are is like feeling exposed to non-existent judgments and terrifies us to believe that we won’t fit or belong into our world.
During our life we have different situations and experiences that bring us challenges, some give us fear, insecurity, frustration and we keep them in silence without letting our consciousness be aware that they’re there.
I told you long ago I ended a relationship that I embraced and cared with all my affection, until it was broken and the respect fell apart, it hurt to my soul the actions he’d decided to have and that I took personal. Instead of generate healthy agreements, we caused tragic disagreements, so I didn’t allow the dialogue because it caused me anger, sadness, pain, so I behaved impulsive and passive- aggressive.
In my internal dialogue I reviewed different chapters of my life where I acted with that same impulse, the first thing I did was deny it, because for me, it was not possible as a spiritual person being able to attack someone, until I accepted it, because I understood that was part of my shadow; so I decided to remove that mask and began to hug myself, giving light to whom I really was.
Remember when I told you that always will be under our control the “feel-action” we decide to have in front of the experiences in life? That responsibility is based on the state of consciousness we decide to have; take into account everyone does what finds possible with the tools they have at hand, and thus, there’ll be situations for we to wake up and be able to accept ourselves as we are.
One does not reach enlightenment by fantasizing
on the light but by making the darkness conscious.
Carl Gustav Jung.
Spirituality is the mission that with love I choose for myself and others, therefore, it’s the resonance that I love, honor and value, and by free will I’ve decided to experience everyday of my life; that doesn’t mean I must deny my human part, nor silence the internal demons that live in me, but what’s in my hands is decide if I lie to myself all the time and unconsciously behave impulsive with matters that make me feel uncomfortable and as a law of attraction, I generate situations to make conscious that my shadow is working instead of my being; or I choose to vibrate in the light that illuminates that shadow and allow myself to see, embrace and accept it, and then, transform it.
We have a reptilian brain that operates us most of the time, it’s the instinctive brain that helps us to defend ourselves from life or situations we feel as dangerous and if we combine it with evaded emotions that turn into negative feelings… picture the result.
Please don’t lie to yourself and accept who you are without feeling ashamed because you and I came to this world to learn and trascend. Stop blaming others for what you’re living because they only represent what you’ve been denying about yourself and it hurts you to accept, so it becomes easier to point out others to feel successful in situations that are only under your power of change.
I’m sure you’ve heard, “change is within you”, “embrace your shadow and embrace your light” but nobody tell us which is the shadow and which one’s the light, because we barely know ourselves, for that reason change never presents, and therefore, a better version does not arrive.
I would tell you, first try to know yourself and start being aware of your fears, your insecurities, your frustrations, your sadness, your anger, and recognize them as a part of you. If you can’t see them, just observe the others or the people with whom you live in constant conflict, and without judgment, see the shadow of others is the same shadow you’ve carried and that today you deny to yourself. It won’t make you a villain or the bad guy of the story if you decide to accept it, the only thing you’ll generate is turn that acceptance into responsibility of who you are and in that way, you’ll be able to illuminate what you don’t like about yourself.
Try not condemning others for their mistakes, remember that everyone has it’s own model of learning and acceptance, and that at some point will come their own process of loving themselves. Please dedicate yourself to see within you and you’ll realize the hard work you still have to do, don’t be afraid to face yourself, because if you don’t, you’ll live in a constant struggle that will turn off your days, and you, will be the shadow who darkened you from becoming the person you wanted to be one day.
Love, accept and transform yourself,
