I believe that my mother’s favourite word has always been “change”, she says it when she feels that some behavior is wrong; I remember that when she told me this, my mind entered into a kind of shock state ‘cause the fact of having to change myself meant facing to something knew, and the unknown implied a possible unacceptance of an invironment which identified me in a certain way.

What’s change? In several occasions I’ve talked you about the Universe and the way it acts; I’ve told you that its function consists in mantaining a balance called “give and receive” so that through those two channels, it can manifest an execution that was preceded by an action; let’s say that a change is based on the same, where you have to modify a thought, a conduct or a vision so you can get a compensation as a result.

Why is it so hard to change? We’re used to identify ourselves with the words “I am” or perhaps; you can identify yourself without using those two words? Maybe not, ‘cause through those statements we can identify ourselves as someone in relation to everything; we do this as a method of protection that make us feel included inside a system we’re part of and  with time, it has become inseparable and imposible to abandon.

“All great changes are preceded by chaos.”

Deepak Chopra.

For a long time we’ve been programmed to believe that guilt was a natural state so it could be used as a mental game towards the others to make them believe that on them is the weight of our own suffering; therefore, that programming made us position in the belief that it’s the situation or the other who has to change before we do it.

This reality we’re experiencing is bringing us closer to a collective change that we’re deeply afraid of and if it’s challenging for us to stay at home, it’s because we feel like we’re in rehab ‘cause we became social addicts of a system to which we’ve been blindly unconditional and by not consuming more of those beliefs, we’re coexisting with the resistance of our own thoughts.

We have to remember that what we resist, will persist in our lives; this means that if we try to observe and transform things from the resistance, our emotional states will enter into combat mode because the cause of that opposition comes from the obstinacy of not changing our perspective; ‘cause this change means surrendering and giving up the control of what we believe is correct regarding to ourselves; and we’ll defend that justified identification with those labels we have imposed on ourselves, repeating us the tale that without them we’re unworthy.

I understand that this situation of huge uncertainty is facing us to a wave of changes that weren’t inside our plans; maybe now you’ve realized that with your couple, things are breaking up and this is making you to take decisions that’ll make both of you change; possibly the relationship with your family system is transforming into something dense and inevitably all those actions will take you all into a collective transformation; possibly you’re constantly confronting yourself ‘cause the situation is making you see that you have to change the way you see life.

Let’s be clear, in order that changes can happen in our lives, we need to move or take action, but for that transformation to occur, it’s necessary to become aware about what we can change and what we can’t, the same way that we have to assume responsability about what we’re interpreting and perceiving related to the environment, ‘cause our interpretations will always condemn us to the same place, or instead will give us the courage to change; ‘cause only the interpretations are the ones that’ll help us move to the places where doubts will rule the situation or where love will be the commander, the decision is yours.

Changing is a process that’s simple but the difficulty lies in the disposition to do it fearless of what others have to say about it, and most of all in loosing the fear of the unknown ‘cause we’re still avoiding the uncertainty that life brings; we’ll never know if the decisions that we’re making will take us to the change we want, ‘cause the consequences of those changes will be seen when we push ourselves to modify our thoughts and bahaviors without expecting others to change or the environment to transform so we can achieve stability and security.

The upcoming collective changes are inevitable and you and all of us will be an intrinsic part of them, but like I’ve mentioned before in different writings, let’s take this situation as an opportunity that can lead us in to a positive change, but if you are a person that prefers to position himself or herself in the resistance mode, counting the days for this nightmare to end, then your change will come with the same opposition you show, but if you choose to look everything from another perspective, freeing yourself from the control of how things should be, then, the same life will teach you that when you allow yourself to flow without any judgement nor resistance, the changes that benefit you the best will come alone, the only thing that you need is to trust that extraordinary things can also happen to you independently of the situation you’re living today, ‘cause by believing this, it will mean that you’re ready to give the steps to the next change you deserve to experience.

Transform yourself,
